Thank you so much to all our participants, volunteers, tour leaders, presenters, sponsors and donors for another exciting and successful Festival. The 18th annual Festival sold over 1500 tickets to over 500 participants from throughout BC including 108 Mile Ranch, Abbotsford, Armstrong, Arrow Creek, Burnaby, Castlegar, Cawston, Chilliwack, Christina Lake, Cobble Hill, Courtenay, Delta, Grand Forks, Greenwood, Hedley, Kaleden, Kamloops, Kelowna, Keremeos, Lake Country, Nanaimo, Naramata, New Westminster, North Vancouver, Okanagan Falls, Oliver, Osoyoos, Peachland, Pender Island, Penticton, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Salmon Arm, Salt Spring Island, Summerland, Surrey, Vancouver, Vernon, Victoria, West Kelowna, Westbank. Participants also came from Calgary and Edmonton in Alberta, London, ON and from the United States including Anacortes, Okanogan and Olympia in Washington, Red Lodge, MN and Noblesville, IN. We are pleased to announce Jeremy Beaulne (ticket number 421) is the winner of our raffle prize of two return tickets to anywhere Westjet flies. Congratulations Jeremy and thanks to everyone who entered to win. We raised over $4400 in support of Meadowlark and OSCA.

2015 Featured Artist – Bethany Handfield
Meadowlark Nature Festival is pleased to announce award-winning painter and teacher, Bethany Handfield as our 2015 Featured Artist. Recipient of the Thea Haubrich Award of Excellence and two-time nominee for Arts Educator at Penticton Art Awards, Bethany primarily works with mixed media and encaustic. We are proud to showcase her piece entitled, Meadowlarking, in this year’s promotional material including our poster, advertisements, t-shirts and on the cover of our program guide.
